SANTA MONICA COLLEGE
http://smc.edu
The Office of Workforce & Economic Development is focused on developing courses designed to support the skill development initiatives of the private industry. We are committed to working with local businesses in designing programs to meet the specific needs of their employees. Through partnerships, many workers can develop the skills necessary to increase productivity, retain employment and/or help prevent the possibility of being laid-off.
The Office of Workforce & Economic Development is continuously seeking to develop partnerships with businesses, non-profit organizations and community service agencies. Many programs we administer have been the product of successful collaborations. To date, we have partnered with entities such as the LA City Worksource Center (Hollywood, Palms-Mar Vista, Career Partners, and Wilshire-Metro), local tourist accommodations (Marriott and Crown Hotel), and the Los Angeles Airport.
We want to expand this network so we could continue to offer the widest array of services and help the local economy gain strength and stability.
INSIGHT 3.0
http://insight30.com
Insight 3.0 is a company focused on assisting companies and executives to successfully grow their digital businesses through event development, market research, reporting and consulting within the digital industry.
Insight 3.0 believes that knowledge is power and and access is critical in today’s global marketplace. Who you know and what you know can seriously affect your bottom line. To bridge this information gap, Insight 3.0 events serve as a means of bringing together the most dynamic international corporations, executives and governmental leaders in the fields of advertising, content, hardware, software, telecommunications, finance, digital content and associated services industries.
Our goal with every conference is to provide an unparalleled forum for the sharing of ideas and the development of practical contacts, with the understanding that as the mobile industry becomes increasingly global in scope and more complex in its infrastructure and offerings, those doing business in the mobile, digital content, services and venture capital industries must understand current and emerging technologies, trends, standards, potential markets, as well as have access to executives at the companies and organizations that can bring a product to market. To that end speakers at our events, audience members, collaborators and sponsors have a unique opportunity to engage in the development and exchange of ideas, opinions and knowledge on the key issues in the global digital marketplace and a exclusive and intimate forum.
